Smart Fingers instead of Smart Phones

Just like your smartphone knows where you are and what you are doing, your body knows what you need to feel good. It’s even more intuitive than that phone because it can tell you exactly what you need in any given situation. Most of us never think to ask. Unlike your cell phone, your body can’t text you or send you a reminder notice. You have to ask.
I once met a woman, an intuitive psychic and she told me that she would open her refrigerator, listen and chose what to eat based on what she heard. That blew me away. You mean, if I am low in vitamin C, my body will tell me to eat an orange? If I’m low in iron, I will crave red meat? Yes, that’s exactly what it does.
And not just food. We can get information about supplements, medicine, beauty products, movies, books, the list goes on and on. It’s anything we consume that has an impact on our wellbeing, health or mood (also known as- our energy).
I tried “listening”, I tried opening my mind to the messages of my body and have determined that I’m not psychic. I am however, intuitive. This led me to find another form of communication.
The technique I use is called Applied Kinesiology.
Applied Kinesiology is used by many medical, dental and chiropractic professional’s to help determine where there is injury or weakness in the body. It is not an evolution of the Kinesiology used in physical therapy which is based on the science of muscle movement, however it was inspired by that scientific body of evidence.
This link will show you a video that my chiropractor Michael Kennedy did explaining how he uses the technique. Having a back injury for over 25 years I can tell you that he has been the most successful at effectively relieving pain and I know it is specifically because of his use of Applied Kinesiology. He only adjusts where my body needs it, no more.
I use the principle of Applied Kinesiology to help me know if what I am about to ingest is going to help me or hurt me. There are two commonly used techniques. One is the raised arm (like Dr. Kennedy shows in his video). The other is the thumb and finger circle.
When I first began using the technique it was often difficult to know what my body was saying. I had to learn my own unique way of communicating. But here is how I started.
First, the raised arm. I raise my arm to a 90 degree angel from my body and in my other hand I may be holding a food or supplement or even a book I want to read. Another person will take just two fingers and attempt to push my raised arm back down toward my body. If my arm holds tight in the raised position, the thing I am holding in my hand is something that my body likes and will make me strong or help me. If my arm goes weak and falls to my side than I may not benefit from what I am wishing to consume (food, supplement or book). I admit that as I first started using the technique it didn’t always give me good answers. I had to hone the skill. The other downfall of the arm is that it requires another person to push your arm down.
The finger circle can be done by yourself, even in the grocery store. Although I still have fun watching people react to us when we do the arm technique in the vegetable section. With the finger circle, use both hands, hold the index finger and thumb and interlock them together, resembling a chain link. I ask the question “Is this in my highest good?” while holding the food in my hand and try to pull my fingers apart. The level of resistance tells me how much my body is in agreement with the suggested food or supplement.
If I am trying to decide which bottle of magnesium supplement to buy I may hold a few different bottles and do the test. I ask, how many do I need, 1,2,3,4, etc. If one bottle says I only need to take 2 and another says 5 and they are the same dosage, I might infer that the first bottle has better absorption or just will work better with my own body chemistry.
Here is the only video I could find explaining this technique and how it works.
This may all sound very out of this world and strange. Maybe it is. But in a world where we have lost the ability to know ourselves intuitively due to so much distraction, I like having a way to communicate with myself. When I tell other people about this, I ask them to do an experiment. Try the technique using a regular sugar packet and a packet of any aspartame containing sweetener, like Equal. Put one in your hand and see how strong your arm or fingers can hold. Then do the other packet and see how strong your arm or fingers will hold. There will be a huge difference and you will feel it. Try it with other things in your refrigerator, processed food verses something whole or organic and see how your body reacts. I promise you that you will notice the difference in strength and as you practice, you will get very good at applying this to your life. It will help you make wise healthful decisions.
Your body is energy. It has a vibration. It knows what will make it stronger and what will make it weaker. This is just one way you can listen to that inner knowledge.
Stay tuned, I will soon be making my own videos and showing people this and other techniques that help us to protect and raise the vibration of our body and maintain optimal physical, mental and spiritual health.
Blessed Be!
